2008 Special Events
Lancaster County has many traditions...from the hex signs brought
to this area by the "fancy Dutch" settlers (as opposed to the Amish and Mennonites, who were called the
"plain Dutch"), through religious and cultural traditions.
Along with the ongoing attractions and points of interest to be enjoyed trhoughout Lancaster County, there are
hundreds of events throughout the year...special theatrical performances, railroading events, mysterious happenings,
commemorative meals, quilt and food weekends, auctions and craft fairs, and so much more.
