Feb. 1 - 19 - God of Carnage - Fulton Opera, 12 N. Prince St., Lancaster, PA. (717)397-7425. Yazmina Reza's savagely funny comedy has been described as a comedy of manners...without the manners. When two well-to-do New York City couples meet to discuss their sons' playground altercation, the thin veneer of civility that shrouds their lives is quickly usurped by more savage instincts. Watch out as cordial banter gives way to adults behaving very, very badly.

Feb. 3 - 12 - Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr - Sharadin Bigler Theatre, (EPAC) located at 320 Cocalico Street in Ephrata Community Park, Ephrata, PA, 17522. The beloved fairy tale, with the bright, beautiful Belle yearning to escape her provincial life and her brutish suitor, becomes an accidental captive in the Beast's enchanted castle. Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills for a perfect family night out!

Feb. 3 - 4 - Stomp - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. A combination of percussion, movement, and visual comedy, STOMP turns ordinary objects into musical instruments in this rhythmic, percussive symphony. STOMP's high-energy troupe enlists everyday items such as garbage can lids, buckets, poles, matches, brooms, chalk, sand and sticks to create a show that should not be missed. Come "see what all the noise is about" when STOMP returns to the AMT stage.

Feb. 9 - March 10 - 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster, 717-898-1900.
A heartwarming and offbeat new musical comedy about growing up, fitting in and earning R-E-S-P-E-C-T. There's gold stars all around when six young people in the middle of puberty learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

Feb. 9 - 10 - "Valen-tastic" - Hands-On House Children's Museum of Lancaster, 721 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, 717-569-KIDS. Young chefs will cook up some "valen-tastic" fun in Seussville with a famous cat that will pull some delicious holiday recipes out of his hat. Pre-registration is required.

Feb. 10 - Howie Mandel - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for over 30 years in television, film and stage. From his work on the Emmy winning "St. Elsewhere," to the international animated children's series "Bobby's World," Howie Mandel has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. Viewers will certainly recall Howie as host of "Deal or No Deal and as a judge on "America's Got Talent." 8:00 pm

Feb. 11 - Air Supply & John Waite - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. The quintessentially smooth soft rock hits of Australian duo Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock include "Lost in Love," "All Out of Love," "The One That You Love," "Making Love Out of Nothing at All," "Every Woman in the World," "Even the Nights are Better," "Just as I Am," and many more. With a string of hits like this, Air Supply wins the award for most prolific masters of the love song genre over the last 30 years. As a solo artist and as the lead singer of The Babys and Bad English, John Waite was a fixture of album-oriented rock radio stations during the 70s and 80s. He had a talent for power ballads and driving arena rock, occasionally touching on new wave styled power pop as well. Several of Waite's songs, including "Missing You," The Babys' "Isn't It Time," and Bad English's "When I See You Smile" became radio staples. 8:00 pm

Feb. 12 - Anne -Marie McDermott - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Anne-Marie McDermott was appointed Artistic Director of the Vail Music Festival in 2011. McDermott is a member of the chamber Music society of Lincoln center with whom she performs and tours each season. The wide reach of her repertoire has enabled her to perform with many leading orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Los Angeles chamber Orchestra, and the symphony Orchestras of Dallas, Pittsburgh, st. Louis, Atlanta, and Baltimore, among others. 1 PM.

Feb. 13 - 14 - The Gene Krupa Story - Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster, 717-898-1900. Famous swing and big band music featuring Arthor Von Blomberg as the feature drummer telling stories of the famous drummer, Gene Krupa. Dancing will be available in the A section.

Feb. 14 - Valentine's Day

Feb. 16 - Music Makers - Hands-On House Children's Museum of Lancaster, 721 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, 717-569-KIDS. Strike up the band! It's time for a Hands-on House "kid's only" concert in this make-it, take it workshop. Drop-in: 11am - 2pm.

Feb. 17 - America & Jon Anderson - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. America, a light folk-rock band from London, England, boasted three members barely out of their teens when they became a musical sensation in the early 1970s, scoring numerous #1 hits and winning a Grammy for Best New Musical Artist. Some of America's best known songs include "A Horse with No Name," "Ventura Highway," "Tin Man," "Lonely People," "Sister Golden Hair," and "You Can Do Magic." Jon Anderson is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable voices in progressive rock as the lead vocalist and creative force behind Yes. Anderson co-authored some of the group's biggest hits, including "I've Seen All Good People," "Roundabout," and "Owner Of A Lonely Heart."

Feb. 18 - Bill Cosby - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Over the past century, few entertainers have achieved the legendary status of William H. Cosby, Jr. His successes span five decades and virtually all media - remarkable accomplishments for a kid who emerged from humble beginnings. In the 1960's, his stand-up act was a coast-to-coast sensation, and spawned a string of hilarious, best-selling, award-winning comedy albums. With hit TV shows like I Spy and The Cosby Show, along with feature films and best-selling books, Bill Cosby is quite simply a national treasure with the unique ability to touch people's hearts.

Feb. 18 - Paul Jacobs - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Paul Jacobs, America's most celebrated concert organist, is the only organ soloist ever to receive a Grammy Award (2011). At the age of 23, Jacobs made musical history when he performed the complete organ works of J.s. Bach in an 18-hour non-stop marathon performance. Jacobs had performed in all 50 states by the age of 31, and has also toured in europe, Asia, south America, and Australia and appeared with major orchestras. He is chair of the organ department at The Juilliard school in New York city. His program will be varied, and will include works by J.s. Bach, edward elgar, and Jeanne Demessieux. 8 pm

Feb - 19 - The Golden Boys - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Frankie Avalon went from 50's teen idol to a national and international star. His first song "De De Dinah" became a smash hit and his recording of "Venus" was one of the biggest selling hits of the era. His follow-up hits include "Bobbysocks to Stockings," "Just As Your Heart," and "A Boy Without a Girl." With a series of performances on Dick Clark's American Bandstand, Fabian became one of the top teen idols of the late 1950's. Fabian enjoyed great success with the hits "Turn Me Loose," "Hound Dog Man," and the million-selling "Tiger" single. Another American Bandstand alum was Bobby Rydell, who had million selling singles with "Volare," "Wild One," and "We Got Love," and additional success with "Swingin' School," "Kissin' Time," and "Forget Him." This show is sure to bring back many a teenage memory!

Feb. 21 - March 9 - Miss Nelson Is Missing - Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster, 717-898-1900. The students of Room 207 are notorious for misbehaving and can't follow Miss Nelson's rules. So when she mysteriously disappears the next day, the students think they have succeeded in driving her away. But their celebration turns to dread when the substitute gives them tons of homework. How will they get Miss Nelson back?

Feb. 22 - 23 - Officer Friendly - Hands-On House Children's Museum of Lancaster, 721 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, 717-569-KIDS. Calling all cars! Report for duty and be prepared for some unexpected adventures as you cruise around town with Officer Friendly. Ride a horse in the mounted patrol and search for clues to solve a mystery. These hands-on experiences will earn you a badge, a hat and your very own radio. Pre-registration is required.

Feb. 24 - Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes were the second band after Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band to emerge from the New Jersey shore scene in the 1970s. With over 30 albums to their credit, the Jukes' musical trademark continues to be their exuberant rhythm and blues feel, loaded with the driving sound of their legendary horn section. Rolling Stone Magazine called their album "Hearts of Stone," "one of the top 100 albums of the 70s and 80s."

Feb. 25 - 4th Annual Winter Beerfest - Stoudt's Black Angus, 2800 N.Reading Road, Adamstown, PA, 19501, 717-484-4386 . From 7 pm to 11 pm taste winter warmers from 13 prestigious breweries featuring special aged beers, great food (7-9 pm) and live music by "The Octavia Blues Band Must be at least 21 years of age.

Feb. 25 - Ken Cowan - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. As Assistant Organ Professor at Westminster choir college in NJ, cowan brings the Longwood Organ to life in a program for kids. 12 & 2 pm

Feb. 29 - Leap Day

Feb. 29 - Soweto Gospel Choir - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Performing in eight different languages, the soweto Gospel choir performs an inspirational program of tribal, traditional, and popular African and Western gospel. Hailing from south Africa, this awe-inspiring vocal ensemble combines earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, a capella, and charismatic performances to uplift the soul. The soweto Gospel choir is comprised of the best talent from the many churches and communities around soweto. since the choir began touring internationally in 2003, they have received nightly standing ovations and rave reviews. Directed by notable choirmaster David Mulovhedzi and south African Director and executive Producer Beverly Bryer, the soweto Gospel choir celebrates the spirit of south Africa by bringing forth the rich heritage found in south African gospel music. 8 pm

Feb. 8 - April 23 - Send Me No Flowers - Rainbow Dinner Theatre, Route 30 East, Box 56, Paradise, PA 17562, 800-292-4301. George, a life-long hypochondriac, hears a wrong diagnosis and believes he is dying. Thinking he only has a few weeks to live, he starts some crazy plans including writing goodbye letters, buying cemetery plots and finding a new sweetheart for his wife. Discover why laughter is the best medicine here at Rainbow.

Feb. 11 - Gifts from the Heart Benefit Concert - Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N West End Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603, 717-517-8543. Some of Lancaster's top performers, such as John Darrenkamp and Daniella Dalli, are involved in this one night only event. All proceeds will benefit the Milagro House. The concert will feature a variety of outstanding vocal performances and will conclude with a reception for all in attendance.

Feb. 12 - A.R. Gurney's LOVE LETTERS - Masonic Center of Lancaster County, 213 West Chesntut St., Lancaster, PA, 717-481-5680. This popular performance piece chronicles the fifty year relationship of two childhood friends. A perfect Valentine entertainment. Admission $10. 8:00 PM.

Feb. 24 - 26 - Oliver! - Lancaster Country Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster, PA 17603, 717-392-2916. You'll hear the famous line, "Please sir, can I have some more?" early on in this delightful musical, an adaptation of Oliver Twist, the memorable Charles Dickens novel about the working class in 19th century London. With 42 players on stage, Oliver, Fagin's gang and all the characters are brought to life by LCDS students...a treat for all ages, complete with a happy ending. 7:00 pm.
