Thru March 13 - RENT - Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster, 717-898-1900. The show that changed Broadway! This smash hit about love and friendship has been cheered around the world. Set in downtown New York, RENT is about a group of young artists looking for success and love, making their mark on the world and living for today. There's No Day But Today to experience this hip rock musical with a message of hope.

Thru March 31- Orchid Extravaganza - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Immerse yourself in a dazzling world of orchids as Longwood transforms its Conservatory into a lush oasis showcasing the divas of the plant world. Highlights include a romantic Valentine's Dinner in the Conservatory, family-friendly OrKID Days, the Jazz Club featuring Grammy-winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard and vocalist Jane Monheit, a Clivia Show, a celebration of Samuel Barber with Curtis on Tour, and the return of the International Orchid Show and Sale in March.

Thru April 24 - Nana's Naughty Knickers - Rainbow Dinner Theatre, Route 30 East, Box 56, Paradise, PA 17562, 800-292-4301. Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates! However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget! It seems her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five borough area! Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her Nana get arrested - or worse! - evicted?? Come to find out!

March 1 - Elizabethtown College Flutefest - Elizabethtown College, One Alpha Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-361-1212. A group of students from the Elizabethtown College Fine and Performing Arts, Music Division, will hold a concert in which every type of flute will be used. The concert will be a fun and interesting night filled with classical music. Samantha L. March 5 - Peking Acrobats - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Hailing from the People’s Republic of China, The Peking Acrobats have been diplomats of their spirited culture for decades. Since 1958, this elite group has toured the world over, leaving audiences spellbound by the graceful presentation of their ancient folk art, acrobatics. Carefully selected from the finest acrobat schools in China, these gymnasts, jugglers, cyclists and tumblers transform 2000-year-old athletic disciplines into an all-ages kaleidoscope of entertainment and wonder.

March 6 - Spring Doo Wop Cavalcade - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Although it’s been a long time since smooth Doo Wop harmonies have echoed from high school bathrooms and street corners across NYC, Doo Wop music continues to resonate with its fans. AMT's latest line up of groups you’ll remember is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Appearing live onstage will be: The Happenings, Frankie Lymon’s Teenagers, Johnny Tillotson, The Excellents, Johnny Farina of Santo & Johnny, Kathy Young, The Eternals and The Fireflies.

March 7 - Three Dog Night - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Nobody had more radio airplay, or sold more records and concert tickets in the ‘70s than Three Dog Night. They were responsible for a succession of 21 hit singles, including eleven Top Tens, and twelve consecutive gold albums from 1969 to 1975, thanks to the slick, sometimes soulful vocal harmonies of founding members Danny Hutton and Cory Wells and an excellent ear for quality material. “One” became the band's first Top Ten hit in 1969, while “Mama Told Me (Not to Come)” hit number one a year later. “Joy to the World” became the group’s biggest hit in 1971, spending six weeks on top of the pop charts, and their streak continued with their final number one, 1972’s “Black and White” and their final Top Ten, 1974’s “The Show Must Go On.”

March 9 - Michael Bolton One World One Love Tour - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Grammy award winner Michael Bolton has become famous for putting his own mark on classic songs. His unique interpretation of soulful standards like, "When a Man Loves a Woman," and "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay," has carved him out a unique niche in music history. Bolton says of the classics in his repertoire, “every night, I get to pay respect to the pioneers, the masters who’ve been such a great inspiration and influence on all of us.”

March 13 - Yakov Smirnoff - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Since he first arrived in the USA, comedian Yakov Smirnoff has built a career on his perpetually awe-struck Russian immigrant persona. The fall of Communism has not slowed him down one bit. Smirnoff will tear himself away from his own theater in Branson just long enough to bring some family-friendly laughs to Lancaster. “What a country!”

March 16 - 27 - A Glorious Morning - Freedom Chapel Dinner Theatre,15 North Bridge Street, P.O. Box 63, Christiana, PA 17509, 610-593-7013. Relive the last week of Christ’s life, his crucifixion and death. Witness his resurrection on “A Glorious Morning”. You will experience all as if you were there.

March 18 - Train - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Hailing from San Francisco, pop-rockers Train made their mark in 2001 with the Grammy-Award-winning hit “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me).” The string of multi-platinum albums and chart-topping singles that followed included “Meet Virginia,” “When I Look to the Sky,” and “Calling All Angels.” With the release of their 2009 album, Save Me San Francisco, an autobiographical account of their humble beginnings, Train has channeled their early days, revisiting the roots rock sound that got them started. Don’t miss an evening with one of pop’s most popular bands, live on stage at AMT!

March 20 - The Oak Ridge Boys - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. One of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry, the four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits. Throughout their career the Oak Ridge boys have received ten gold records, three platinum records, one double platinum record and one double platinum single. Some of their hits include: “Elvira,” “Dream On,” “Bobby Sue,” “Fancy Free,” “American Made” and “Thank God for Kids.” Oak Ridge Boy and Philadelphia native Joe Bonsall is now also an author of the book and song, GI Joe and Lillie, the touching story of his parents.

March 20 - Jane Monheit - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Firmly established as one of the post-millennial jazz world’s foremost vocalists, Jane Monheit delights audiences with her latest project The Lovers, the Dreamers and Me. Enjoy this collection of songs that includes interpretations of a Paul Simon classic, embraces contemporary songwriters like Fiona Apple, and features a rich assortment of jazz and pop classics, ranging from Cole Porter and Jimmy Dorsey to Leonard Bernstein.

March 20 - An Evening with Stephen Lynch - Pucillo Gymnasium, Millersville University, 1 South George St., Millersville, PA 17551. Stephen has toured with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Lewis Black and the late Mitch Hedberg. Show starts at 8:00 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm.

March 20 - Furry Friends Network - 2010 Easter Egg Hunt for dogs & kids - Oscar's Pet Resort, 521 Willow Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. All well behaved, spayed/neutered, leashed, currently licensed and vaccinated dogs are welcome! Eggs will be filled with prize slips, people treats and dog treats. 1:00 and 4:00 pm. $8.00 per person/DOG pair, or donation from FFN wish list. March 20 - Lancaster County Amish Tour - Lancaster County Tours, 888-999-4479 or 888-824-3763. As the Amish explore new ways of establishing a presence in today's world both in service and economic stamina, Lancaster County Tours search for age old traditions that have been passed down over the generations. With bakers, canners, carpenters and coach makers, the narrative of how the locals make a living in today's economy is easily read. Hosted by The Artist's Inn and Harvest Moon B&B.

March 25 - Randy Travis - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. Randy Travis balances a full-time music career with a full-time acting career. In addition to guest appearances on TV's “Matlock,” “Touched By An Angel” and “Texas,” his film credits include The Rainmaker, Black Dog and Fire Down Below. Number one hits include “If I Didn’t Have You,” “Three Wooden Crosses,” “On the Other Hand” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.”

March 25 - May 9 - Meet Me in St. Louis - Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster, 717-898-1900. Clang, clang, clang went the trolley. It's the turn of the century and the the World's Fair is coming to St. Louis. Based on the classic MGM movie that starred Judy Garland, it features the hits Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Skip To My Lou, The Boy Next Door, and of course The Trolley Song.

March 27 - Moody Blues - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30, across from Rockvale Outlets), Lancaster, PA. 717-397-7700 or 800-648-4102. The Moody Blues’ dreamy, orchestral sound is engrained in America’s consciousness, and their songs have been featured everywhere from countless TV commercials, an episode of the Simpsons, and even inspiring a theme park ride. Their many hits are artistic, poignant, yet still have a wide appeal. Come for an evening of music you’ll remember, featuring: “Nights in White Satin,” “ Tuesday Afternoon,” “ In Your Wildest Dreams,” “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere,” “I’m Just a Singer in a Rock’ N’ Roll Band,” “ The Story in Your Eyes,” “ Question,” “Isn’t Life Strange,” and many more.
