The Pennsylvania Dutch Country Welcome Center websites (PaDutch.com and 800PaDutch.com) are designed for anyone interested in learning more about and planning a trip to the greater Lancaster County area. But in the first half of 2004 we noticed that our old Group Pages were being viewed a lot (over 1200 times in July alone). So, we decided to expand our presence to better serve this large group market.

Within our websites we developed PADutchGroups, a section devoted specifically to this group market. Groups can easily find this section by clicking on "Groups" at the top and bottom of many pages throughout the sites. Or, they can go directly to PaDutchGroups.com.

Here, groups can find general information appropriate for groups, plus individual directories for Attractions, Lodging, Dining, Shopping, and Tours.

Any business that currently purchases links within the Pennsylvania Dutch Country Welcome Center and who serves this group market will have their name, address, phone number, and link included in the appropriate group directory at no additional charge. However, businesses can also purchase more prominent Photo Ads, such as the one below. These ads include a small picture or graphic plus their name, address, phone, and a 50-word description of the business.

• From August through December, 2004 we received 75 completed RFP forms from prospective groups.
• From January 1 - 12, 2005 we received 8 more. This seems to be working well.

If groups are an important part of your business, then you should consider increasing your presence at PaDutchGroups. You can purchase a Photo Ad and receive all submitted RFP Forms for a whole year at our special introductory rate of only $225.00. That's $40 off our normal rate for a Photo Ad, plus you'll receive the RFP's. But you must act now. After January 31, 2005 the rate increases to the normal $265.00/year.
